    New Intrinsically Safe VHF / 800 / 900 MHz portable approvals for CLASS I, DIVISION 1, GROUPS A&B

    MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO (Communications) -- KENWOOD Electronics Canada Inc. is pleased to announce its’ NX-210/410/411 portables are now eligible to bear the CSA mark and Intrinsically Safe approval for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F and G; Class III, Division 1; Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D. KENWOOD is the leader providing the largest selection of CSA Class I, Division 1, Groups A&B digital portables currently available on the market. As with the NX-200/300 series portables, the NX-210/410/411 portables are operational with 2W output and certified in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C.
