The KENWOOD Group has for some time been engaged in activities aimed at achieving accreditation under international quality control standards for its various businesses: home audio, car audio, communications equipment, and testing and measuring equipment. As a result, 5 facilities now have ISO-9001 registration, and 13 have ISO-9002 registration.
KENWOOD (Mexico) achieved ISO-9002 registration in May 1996. The QS-9000 certification demands even stricter standards, but with the entire staff working together for a common goal, KENWOOD (Mexico) was successful. What is more, this is the first time a member of the KENWOOD Group has won QS-9000 certification.
