The HF/50MHz All-mode transceiver TS-480 series firmware has been updated from Version 1.03 to Version 1.04 as follows.
Kenwood is offering the firmware updating program to the TS-480 series owners.

Updated item : (Version.1.03 1.04)

Applied electrical compatibility with new component devices as well as discontinued component devices.
(There is no functional change.)

Updated item : (Version.1.02 1.03)

Problem resolved: Transmit Inhibit function on 5MHz band for the TS-480HX K, TS-480SAT K (Americas models) may not work correctly.

Updated item : (Version.1.01 1.02)

Problem resolved: When the Kenwood HF/6m linear amplifier TL-933 (only for Japanese market) is connected and the TL-933's [TUNE] button is pressed and the TL-933's automatic antenna tuning is completed, receiving audio from the TS-480HX/SAT is muted on rare occasions.

Updated items : (Version.1.00 1.01)

	1.	7MHz band TX range is expanded to "7000kHz-7200kHz" for the TS-480HX E, TS-480SAT E (European models).
	2.	Internal automatic antenna tuner performance on 28/50MHz band is revised to higher precision impedance matching for the TS-480SAT K/E.
	3.	Algorithm of the Speech processor is revised for further compression ratio.

Serial numbers: From S/NO.508xxxxx through S/NO.A8Axxxxx

Notes	:	You can find the serial number imprinted on the main body bottom cover; it consists of an 8-digit number beginning with "S/NO."
