This software is an application solely for the use of controlling the TS-480. |

This software can be used on a PC for controlling the TS-480. |

This software can be used to edit, save, and export to the TS-480 information such as Memory, Menu, and Auto Mode frequencies. |

This software can be used with the KENWOOD NETWORK COMMAND SYSTEM for remote operation of the TS-480.

| Operating Environment |

Operating Systems
Windows® 98, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000 (SP3 or later), or Windows® XP (SP1 or later). |

Processor
The recommended CPU or better for each OS.
A Pentium® II or better is recommended. |

System Memory (RAM)
At least the recommended system memory for each OS. |

Hard Disk Free Space
At least 8MB free space on the hard disk. |

Peripheral Devices

A display with at least 800 x 600 resolution (High Color or better is recommended). |

A keyboard and a mouse, or other pointing device. |

If a Microsoft IntelliMouse® is connected to the PC, the wheel function may be used. |

| Usage Notes |

If you are remotely controlling the Transceiver using this software via a network such as the Internet, you must conform to the radio laws and relevant domestic laws of the country and/or area where the Transceiver and relevant equipment are installed. |

If any problem occurs while you are remotely controlling the Transceiver and relevant equipment, the responsibility of finding a solution to the problem is left solely to the user who remotely control the Transceiver and relevant equipment. |

Users are required to obtain an approval from KENWOOD, in writing, prior to redistributing this software on a personal web page or packet radio. |

Users are prohibited to assign, rent, lease, or resell the software. |
|
Users are prohibited to revise, change, translate, merge, de-compile, or reverse engineer the software. |

KENWOOD does not warrant that quality and functions of this software comply with each user's purpose of use of this software, and unless specifically described in this document, KENWOOD shall be free from any responsibilities to any defects and indemnities to any damages or losses. | Installation of ARCP-480 |
| 1. |
Install this software by running "A480***.exe" and by following the displayed instructions.
Note:
|
Administrator privileges are required when installing the software on Windows® 2000 (SP3 or later) or Windows® XP (SP1 or later). |
|
If you erroneously select the wrong operating system when installing this software, please start the installation again from the beginning. |

When the window to select the help language is displayed, select the desired help language (English or Japanese).
Note:

To change the help language after you have installed the application, reinstall the application from the beginning. |
