The downloaded program is only available for owners of the TS-2000/TS-2000X/TS-B2000.
Even if the program is downloaded, it cannot be used by owners of the Japanese models TS-2000S/SX/TS-2000V/VX. |

This program runs on Windows® 2000 (SP4 or later), Windows® XP (SP2 or later), or Windows Vista™. |
|
When installing, running and uninstalling this program, you must have administrative privileges. |
|
To update your TS-2000(X)/B2000 firmware, an RS-232C straight cable is required. |
|
About 1MB of free hard disk space is needed to install this program. |
|
At least 5MB of memory is required to run this program. |
|
Users may not engage in the following acts:

To revise, change, edit, merge, de-compile or reverse engineer the Software. |

This firmware updating program cannot read and write user data (menu items, memory channels).

| Installation : |
| 1. |
Execute the downloaded self-extracting file "TS2K_108.EXE" and extract the installation program into a designated folder. |
| 2. |
In the designated folder, a folder labeled "disk1" will be created.
Execute the Setup.exe file within the "disk1" folder to begin installation. |
| 3. |
Once installation begins, follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation. |

| Uninstalling : |
Delete "Kenwood TS-2000 Update" by executing
[Control Panel]-[Add/Remove Programs]. |
