This software runs on Windows® 2000 (SP4 or later), Windows® XP (SP2 or later), or Windows Vista™ operating system.(This software might not run on Windows Vista™ 64-bit Editions) |

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher must be installed. |

And furthermore, the .NET Framework 2.0 (or later) which is available for download from Microsoft download center must also be installed. (Windows Vista™ users do not need to install the .NET Framework.)
How to check the .NET Framework 2.0 (or later) installed or not in your Windows® 2000 / XP : Open the Control Panel and select Add/ Remove Programs, then scroll through the list of applications. If you find the name of the "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0" (or later), you do not need to install it again. |

| Attention |
|
Before starting to edit the data in the MCP-2A, you must first read data from the transceiver. (The MCP-2A must recognise the exact model type of the transceiver.) Writing data to the transceiver without reading the transceiver's exact model type, may result an error. |
|
If you do not want to lose user data, save the data using the Memory Control Program MCP-2A before updating the firmware and write the data back after updating the firmware. |
|

| Installation : |

Execute the downloaded self-extracting file "TM-V71_TM-D710_Main_200E.exe" and the file is extracted into a designated folder. |
| 2. |
In the folder labeled "TM-V71_TM-D710_Main", the firmware updating program "TM-V71_TM-D710_Main_V200_e.exe" and "TM-V71_TM-D710_Main_e.chm" are automatically created. |
|

| Uninstalling : |
| Delete the folder labeled "TM-V71_TM-D710_Main" manually using the Explorer or an alternative method. |
