About this software
This software is for creating and editing data such as memory channels and menus on a PC by connecting the TS-2000(X)/B2000 to the PC by using an RS-232C straight cable.

Windows® 7 (RTM or later) (32-bit or 64-bit)
Note:
This software is designed to run on the above operating systems.
Applicable operating systems are subject to change without notice due to the end of the technical support by Microsoft Corporation or change of the product specifications.
2. Processor
Faster than the recommended CPU for each OS.
3. System Memory (RAM)
Larger than the recommended System Memory for each OS.
4. Free Hard Drive Space
1MB or more of free hard drive space.
5. Peripheral Devices
A display with resolutions higher than VGA (640 x 480).
A keyboard and a mouse, or other pointing devices.
An RS-232C interface.
An RS-232C straight cable with a 9-pin D-SUB female connector for the transceiver's COM port.
(When the PC has no RS-232C port, then use a USB-to-serial adapter.)
 
Attention
 
Before starting to edit the data in the MCP-2000, you must first "Read" data from the transceiver. (The MCP-2000 must recognize the exact model type of the transceiver.) Writing data to the transceiver without reading the transceiver's exact model type may result an error.
Data of the Auto-mode frequency points and the Satellite memory channels are not written to or read from the transceiver.
Turn the transceiver OFF before connecting it to a PC.
There is no help file for the software.

JVC KENWOOD Corporation shall own all copyrights and other intellectual properties for the software and all manuals and documents attached to the software. The user shall be allowed to use, not to resell, the software by obtaining a license from JVC KENWOOD Corporation. While the media on which the software is stored is possessed by the user, the ownership for the software itself shall be reserved for JVC KENWOOD Corporation.
 
Installing the MCP-2000
  Extract the downloaded file "MCP2000_100.zip" into a designated folder. In the designated folder, a folder labeled "MCP2000_100" will be created.
Execute the MCP-2000 software by double-clicking the "Mcp_2000.exe" in the folder labeled "MCP2000_100".
 
Uninstalling the MCP-2000
  Delete the folder labeled "MCP2000_100" manually using the Explorer or an alternative method.
This software does not modify the system registry parameters or system folder.
